Corrie graduated from Dundee University in 1991 and spent the early part of her career in Oral Medicine. She qualified from King’s Hospital London in Orthodontics, winning the MSc research prize and the British Orthodontic Society prize for best treated cases in the MOrth examination. Corrie was awarded her Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Glasgow in 2001.
Corrie is a member of the British Dental Association (BDA), British Orthodontic Society (BOS), British Lingual Orthodontic Society (BLOS), World Federation of Orthodontists (WFO) and the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO).
Trevor graduated from Cardiff University in 1991. He spent several years in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery field before transferring to children’s dentistry. He attended the Eastman Dental Institute, where he gained his MSc for work on surface receptors in muscle cells. Trevor was awarded his Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2001.
Trevor takes a special interest in adult orthodontics using all types of clear or invisible braces. He is certified in the Incognito and WIN lingual brace systems, along with the Invisalign aligner system and conventional clear braces. Trevor was part of the UK research into the Damon Self-Ligating Bracket System, and has an active role in postgraduate education.

Richard is a highly experienced Clinician, qualifying in dentistry at Guy’s Hospital in 1993 and then as a Specialist Orthodontist in 2001. He has since provided high-quality orthodontic care in both hospital and specialist practice. Richard was an associate at Cygnet Orthodontics some 10 years ago and is delighted to be making a return!
From an early age Richard saw how enjoyable and rewarding Orthodontics can be through his Father, who was also an Orthodontist! As a teenager he helped pour-up the patients plaster models and was able to see the incredible improvements braces made to their smiles. In carrying on the family tradition, it is very apparent in his relaxed and friendly manner, how much enjoyment and satisfaction Richard gets from his specialty.
Outside dentistry Richard is an accomplished French horn player. He started playing aged 7 years and has never stopped, continuing to get great pleasure, and relaxation, playing in the Richmond Orchestra. For anyone concerned about the effect of braces on their brass or wind instrument playing, Richard is in a unique position to provide the advice and reassurance needed. Richard is also kept busy at home with his wife, Bridget, and sons, Jonty and Felix.
Holly joined Cygnet Orthodontics in April 2018, having worked in the dental industry since 2000. She went on to qualify as an Orthodontic Therapist in 2021. Previously, she qualified as a dental nurse in 2002, gaining her Radiography Certificate in 2006, Sedation in 2010, Oral Health Education in 2015 and Orthodontic Nursing in 2019.
Holly very much enjoys treating nervous patients and those with special needs.
Sabina comes from Poland and speaks fluent English.
Sabina joined Cygnet Orthodontics in 2009, and gained her NCBDN Certificate in Dental Radiography in the same year. She then qualified as an Orthodontic Nurse in 2013. In 2017, Sabina successfully completed her diploma at King’s College, London, and is now a fully qualified Orthodontic Therapist.
Sabina is a personal fitness enthusiast, and away from orthodontics has achieved a qualification as a personal gym instructor.
Karen joined the practice in 2013 and completed her dental nursing training in 2014. She then completed her NEBDN certificate in Dental Radiology in 2016. Karen most recently went on to qualify as an Orthodontic Therapist in 2022.
Karen is currently studying to become a qualified Orthodontic Therapist and will be completing her course in June 2022.
Joanne has been a Dental Nurse since 1998, and took on the role of Treatment Coordinator at Cygnet Orthodontics in 2016.
Jo gained her NCBDN Certificate in Dental Radiography in 2009, and qualified as an Orthodontic Nurse in 2013. She also has a Level 4 in British Sign Language.
Courtney is one of our Treatment Coordinators and Dental Nurses, and joined the team at Cygnet Orthodontics in 2013.
Courtney completed her NCBDN Certificate in Dental Radiography in 2014.
Simran joined the practice in 2021. She has been working as a Dental Nurse since 2013 and registered with the GDC in 2015. She gained her NCBDN certificate in Dental Radiography in June 2022.
Simran also works as one of our Treatment Coordinators.
Sally joined the Cygnet Orthodontics team as Business Manager in summer 2021 and is a qualified solicitor with considerable experience of managing teams and managing projects. Sally brings her legal background and business knowledge to the team.
Caroline joined the Cygnet Orthodontics team in 2022.
Caroline graduated with a BA Honours degree in Costume with Textiles Design from Huddersfield University in 2016 specialising in silk screen printing. Although this is Caroline’s first receptionist role she has six years’ experience working in administration and customer service.
Amy has been working as a Dental Nurse since 2011 and joined our team in 2014.
Cristina has been working as a Dental Nurse since 2018 and joined our team in 2020. Cristina is qualified in Dental Radiography.
Dominika joined the practice in July 2019. She has been working as a Dental Nurse since 2013 and registered with the GDC in 2015.
Dominika gained her SAAD (sedation) qualification in 2015 and is qualified in Dental Radiography.
Iuliana joined the team at Cygnet Orthodontics in 2023.
Iuliana is Romanian and has lived in England since 2015. She qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2023 and registered with the GDC in the same year.
Claire joined the team at Cygnet Orthodontics in 2024.
Claire is currently studying for her Dental Radiography qualification.
Karen graduated from law school in 2015. She has over four years of experience working in reception and administrative roles, and joined the team at Cygnet Orthodontics in July 2019.
In her spare time, Karen enjoys going to the gym and catching the latest films at the cinema.
Jaime joined the team at Cygnet Orthodontics in 2023.
Jaime comes to us from Canada with 11 years of experience in customer service. She graduated in 2022 with a diploma in Business Administration – Management.
In her spare time Jaime enjoys visiting National Trust properties, discovering new coffee shops, and creating online content.
